The tour meeting point is next to the statue of Henry Tudor on Mill Bridge Pembroke. Mill Bridge is on the river and is between the Cornstore and Royal George Pub. This is the A4139.
We start at 9:00am and finish at 17:30 back in Pembroke
No, Just be comfortable and take a rain jacket just in case.
Yes there are toilets at all stages of the Tour
Car parking is available nearby on the Common Car Park. Pembroke has a one way system, so we recommend parking then walking up to the Castle and meet us on the Bridge.
Yes. There are currently no photographic restrictions.
No all ages are welcome.
We will enable everyone to come on the tour. There is some amount of walking. Towers are inaccessible points for chair users - but call to discuss your needs in advance.
No all entry tickets, guide costs and transport is covered. You need to pay for your own coffee breaks and lunch
Yes guests can bring packed lunches and we will show you places to eat them. Please do not eat in our vehicles.
Castles have obstacles so care is needed
12 guests, but contact us should you need to bring a larger group.
All we ask is that guests behave with consideration to fellow history lovers and the historic environments we visit
Yes, back packs and day bags are fine
Only Lamphey Palace does not have a cafe. Both Pembroke and Carew have good meal and coffee facilities. We recommend Vista Cafe in Tenby but there are several other options we can direct you to.
